Bodem
Bodem plays with sound based on lyrical melodies and soft harmonies. After their debut album “Kleine Mars,” they took arranging and playing a step further with their second album “Lush and Alive”. If you want to experience Bodem in the best possible way, you still have to come and see them live.
Solo
Adia has released two solo albums and has done many solo shows in and out of Belgium. Her first one sider LP “Here are 5 reasons to meditate” (released on Ultra Eczema) focused exclusively on the sounds of the saxophone. With her second album “Taking Place” (released on Relative Pitch) she improvised with the sounds of her surroundings, subtly turning it into a secret duo album.
Waarlijk (former project)
Waarlijk combines a brass band experience with free improvisation and minimalism. It is a search for the overlap between groove-based music and free improvisation. In which the audience is allowed to move between the musicians and hopefully is completely taken on a danceable trip. Vanheerentals / Beeckaert / Lasure (former project)
A trio originally inspired by Jimmy Guiffre’s album Free Fall, exploring the boundary between composition and the freest possible improvisation.
