Bodem plays with sound based on lyrical melodies and soft harmonies. After their debut album “Kleine Mars,” they took arranging and playing a step further with their second album “Lush and Alive”. If you want to experience Bodem in the best possible way, you still have to come and see them live.
Waarlijk
Waarlijk combines a brass band experience with free improvisation and minimalism. It is a search for the overlap between groove-based music and free improvisation. In which the audience is allowed to move between the musicians and hopefully is completely taken on a danceable trip. A trio originally inspired by Jimmy Guiffre’s album Free Fall, exploring the boundary between composition and the freest possible improvisation.
