Adia Vanheerentals likes to work as a saxophonist in different contexts. In recent years, she created the jazz/impro bands Bodem, Waarlijk and Vanheerentals/Beeckaert/Lasure. With Bodem she released their second album ‘Lush and Alive’ in February 2025, and she will release her second solo album ‘Taking Place’ in the Autumn of 2025. She also plays in Femke Gyselinck’s dance performance ‘Change Of Plans’, Corinne Heyrman’s theater performance ‘Jassen voor beginners’ and is active as a side-woman in bands such as Klinck Trio, Fire! Orchestra, Woolvs Large Esemble, Anaïs, etc.
